Halloween is Saturday 31 October. Free pumpkin trail at Manor Farm, Spooky Squadrons at the Bunker, and pick-your-own pumpkins at Iver from £4 a head.
Halloween 2026 falls on Saturday 31 October, the last day of Hillingdon’s half term, and the borough’s own Halloween events land on that day: a free pumpkin trail at Manor Farm House in Ruislip, the last day of Spooky Squadrons at the Battle of Britain Bunker, and two film sing-alongs at the Compass Theatre. For picking your own pumpkin, the nearest farm with 2026 dates published is Calves Lane Farm at Iver, under three miles from Uxbridge. Every detail below is from the organiser’s own page, checked on 4 October.
The quick answer
- Free, on Halloween itself: the Pumpkin Trail at Manor Farm House, Ruislip, 10am to 4pm on Saturday 31 October (and Thursday 29 October). (Hillingdon Council)
- Pick your own pumpkins: Calves Lane Farm, Billet Lane, Iver SL0 0LU. Open from 10am on October weekends and every day from Friday 23 to Saturday 31 October. £4 a head to get in (everyone aged 2 and over), booked online; pumpkins are £1.20 a kilo. (The Fruit Fields)
- All week: Spooky Squadrons at the Battle of Britain Bunker, Monday 26 to Saturday 31 October, included with admission. (Hillingdon Council)
- Not yet announced: anything Halloween-themed at The Chimes or the Pavilions for 2026. The Chimes’ Halloween pages on 4 October still described 2025.
Pick your own pumpkins at Iver
The Fruit Fields is the pick-your-own business of Copas Farms, which runs two farms: Lower Mount Farm at Cookham and Calves Lane Farm at Iver, which it has farmed as PYO since 1978. It added pumpkins in 2021. (Copas Farms)
The Iver farm is on Billet Lane, Iver SL0 0LU, 2.8 miles from Uxbridge town centre in a straight line. The farm’s own site gives the 2026 pumpkin dates as:
| Dates | Days |
|---|---|
| 3 and 4 October | Sat, Sun |
| 10 and 11 October | Sat, Sun |
| 17 and 18 October | Sat, Sun |
| 23 to 31 October | every day, Fri 23 to Sat 31 |
The opening time listed for Iver is 10am. Here is how it works, from the farm’s pumpkin page:
- Book first. The ticket is £3 plus a £1 admin fee, so £4 a person, for adults and for children aged 2 and over. It is an entry ticket only: it does not count towards the pumpkins. The farm releases tickets in batches, so if your date is full, check back. You cannot change the branch, date or time once booked.
- Then pay for what you pick. Pumpkins are £1.20 a kilo; small squash are sold individually from £1.50.
- Included: parking, a wheelbarrow (one per group) and the maize maze, which the farm says is open during pumpkin season and now included in the price.
- Bring strong carrier bags and boots: the farm warns it gets muddy. There is nowhere to carve on site, though carving kits are sold in the shop. No dogs, except assistance dogs. Card payment is preferred.
- The farm says its phone line is not staffed for queries; it asks for email instead. The Iver message line is 01753 652727.

The Pumpkin Trail and Harry Potter Book Day are both at Manor Farm on Thursday 29 October, a short walk apart, so one trip covers both. On Halloween itself the trail is the only free borough event, and it closes at 4pm.
The full half-term programme, including theatre, the Ruislip Lido Railway and the Beck Theatre, is on our October half term in Uxbridge page. The Bunker’s winter opening and prices are on our Battle of Britain Bunker winter page.
Getting there and parking
- Calves Lane Farm: parking is included in the £4 ticket. The farm asks 4x4 drivers to park on the grass so the hard standing stays free for other cars, and electric cars to keep off the grass when it is wet.
- Manor Farm, Ruislip: the council car parks in Ruislip and the Lido are covered on our parking in Uxbridge page.
- Roadworks: check the Uxbridge roadworks and travel page before driving to any of these.
- The clocks go back on Sunday 25 October, the day before half term starts, so it is dark an hour earlier by Halloween night.
Still to be confirmed
- The Chimes, Uxbridge: the shopping centre’s “October half term” and “Halloween goodies” pages, checked on 4 October, are last year’s, posted in October 2025. We will add a 2026 event if one appears.
- Trick or treat events, Halloween discos and pub events: none are published by an organiser for 2026 yet. If you are running one in Uxbridge, Ruislip, Hayes or Hillingdon, send us the details.
Coming next
The Uxbridge fireworks are on Saturday 7 November, a week after Halloween, and they are in Harrow, not Uxbridge. Our Uxbridge fireworks page explains where to go and what the tickets cost.
